Submission Process

In order to process your submission efficiently you will need to ensure that all relevant material has been provided. To help you with this, please go through the following checklist prior to submitting the article.

Submission checklist

  • The submission meets the requirements laid out in our Instructions for Authors.
  • You have completed the Conflict of Interest Form.
  • You have provided a covering letter giving author details and a description of the manuscript.
  • The submission has not been previously published, other than in abstract form, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • If you have opted for blind peer review, you must submit two copies of the manuscript. One must have all references to the authors name(s), institution(s) and any acknowledged individuals removed from the document and its metadata, following the instructions contained in Instructions for Authors. This file should have the words “blind copy” added to the title. The second file should be the original with all details in place

Online submission

Already registered with us?
You need to log in to the site at the right hand side of this (or any) page and then click on the main menu item for “Submit now”. Follow the instructions on that page. 

First-time author?
Although registration is not required to read the Journal, you do need to register with the site to use our online submission system. This is a one-time process. To register, click on the “Register” tab to the right of this (or any) page and enter the requested details. You will receive a confirmation of your registration and you can then log in and click the “Submit now” item in the main menu.
